Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Align. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

Your Account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile Settings screen in the App; deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Subscriptions & Billing

• Align Pro— an optional subscription available as a monthly ($7.99/month) or yearly ($29.99/year) plan, each with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
• Billing— payment is charged to your Apple ID through the App Store. No payment details are collected by us.
• Auto-renewal— subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Cancelling— manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds— purchases are processed by Apple, and refund requests are handled by Apple under their terms.

Fair Play & Acceptable Use

Align is built around honest competition. You agree not to tamper with, falsify, or manipulate challenge results, screen time records, or leaderboard standings; not to interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers; not to access other users' data; and not to use the App for anything unlawful. Group chats must be free of abusive, harassing, or unlawful content. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules.

App Blocking & Screen Time

Align's app-blocking features rely on Apple's Screen Time permissions, which you grant and can revoke at any time in iOS Settings. Blocking is a self-chosen focus tool — we cannot guarantee uninterrupted blocking in every circumstance. Align is a productivity app; it is not a medical or health service and does not provide medical advice.

Content & Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, branding, and software, belongs to us and our licensors. You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as chat messages) and grant us a limited license to store and display it as needed to operate the App's features.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the service. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers and limitations of liability) survive termination.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including any non-excludable consumer guarantees in your jurisdiction.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your place of residence.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date, and continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
